Can someone tell my how to eliminate the on - off pulsating which occurs
when my cursor is in either of the Address Windows and the Subject Window
of a new message? I am not speaking about the Insertion Point, which should
be pulsating, but does not interfere with my typing.

Thank you,
Bernie Beal.

Do you mean that a tool tip is pooping up and down? Or it is turning into a arrow and
back to the bar?

One way to avoid that is once you've clicked in the field to see the typing point, move
the cursor out of the way.

The other thing you can try is going into the Control Panel, Mouse and play with the mouse
pointer and sensitivity. The options available will depend on your mouse. What can be
happening is that minor vibrations on your desk is causing the PC to detect subtle mouse
movement.

Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble with Outlook Express I'm hoping someone here
might be able to help me with. Half an hour ago I just launched Outlook
which apparently downloaded my latest mail. However Windows (XP) froze so I
Cntrl+Alt+Del'd Outlook (yes I made sure to wait until mail was FULLY
downloaded), only to relaunch the app and find my latest e-mails can't be
read. The error message on the latest e-mails is as follows:

Message has not been downloaded
Outlook Express has not yet downloaded this message.

To download this message:
- Press Space [space is bolded]

Google search for troubleshoot turns up nothing. Unfortunately clicking the
link doesn't get a response, and I tried my online e-mail account but they
have already been automatically deleted from the server (since they were
downloaded in Outlook). New e-mail coming in & old e-mail stored seems to
work fine, but there were a few important new mails there I'd love to be
able to read.

Is there any way to either 1) fix/restore these emails so they're readable?
I can't seem to right-click and select these particular e-mails' properties
either; or 2) find a way to re-download these e-mails from my server (even
though they're no longer there, perhaps they're stored in my mail server's
cache or something?)

Thanks in advance for your time and I look forward to hearing from someone.

Best regards,
Tony

Use something like Magic Mail Monitor to see if the mail is still on the
server.
http://mmm3.sourceforge.net/
If it is, close OE, delete the pop3uidl.dbx file and then start OE back and
check the mail

Try incredimail www.incredimail.com it uses OE's data.
The message could be in OE and OE doesn't know that it did download it, if
that's the case than incredimail should work.
