I think that unless outlook is messing up things you should keep it.

If you want to save space and you're sure you don't need OE anymore then
yes, go ahead and uninstall it.

Gee Tom, if he deletes OE he'l have to go back to Outlook and then Outlook
requires OE so he'll have to keep OE.

You might want to re-read it, they're wanting to know if they can remove
Outlook now that they're using OE.

Personally I'd keep Outlook on the computer, it's got a lot more to it that
Outlook Express does.
