how can i recover my contact folder?

i think, i screw up something.
I was trying to send out contact from old note book to my new note book.

and i guess i lost all of my contact. i can not see anything in that folder.
and there is no .dbx files.

How can i recover it?

The Address Book stores its information in an *.wab file unless it has been
set to share with Outlook.
