At first I thought that I was losing my mind, but I noticed that messages
were disappearing from my inbox. I checked MS knowledge base. The only thing
that I saw was related to NAV. I run AVG7. Anyone else have this problem?

Is OE set to "Show All Messages"?
Is it set to "Group Messages by Conversation"?

Turn off AVG's email scanning. It provides no added protection.
